Blogging, Connecting Us All

Blogs are for anyone in the world to see. If someone has a passion or a strong opinion, they have the option to share it with anyone interested in it.
The blog I have created gives people with negative feelings toward the MCAS testing a chance to read more about it and to see the effects it brings to young children. Even though the Department of Education has made this a requirement it does not mean you cannot stand up for what you believe in and voice your opinion. The blog shows that everyone has freedom of speech and can express a dislike. A blog can send a strong message out to others. The fact that a blog can be produced by anyone shows that people with strong opinions can get their points across in an interesting way and gives readers many outlooks to agree or disagree on.
Blogs do not have to be complex so children can create one or just read one and even leave comments for everyone to see. Blogging gets an opinion across and you can get feedback to then spark new ideas into your mind. This is a way to connect everyone together. With technology today no one has to be silenced. We have a chance to make a difference and actually take action and not just sit back and watch the world and all its flaws go by. By writing about your thoughts people could agree and things could change. Cultural, political and social issues can all be addressed to make people more well- informed citizens.
Readers should read this blog and realize they can stand up for what they believe in and always share their opinions with others. No Child should be left behind!
MCAS testing is not acceptable and this issue should not be overlooked. Do not watch your children or friends lose hope and not graduate high school because of one test in their way.
